Sadiya Inam works as a Senior Research Assistant with Middle East Outlook. She is a researcher of International Relations specialising in West Asian Studies. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Jamia Millia Islamia and a BA (Hons.) in English Literature. Her research interests lie at the intersection of West Asian geopolitics, conflict and political violence, displacement, securitisation, international law, and the politics of resistance. Her work focuses particularly on Palestine and contemporary conflicts in West Asia, alongside broader questions of political order, state power, forced displacement, and international institutions. She has also worked as a Geopolitical and Research Analyst and has contributed to academic and editorial initiatives. She has served as General Secretary of the Subject Association for West Asian Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia and as the General Editor of Al Nahda, where she was involved in research, editorial work, and academic content development.
