Founder & Editor: Dr Mohmad Waseem Malla
Dr. Mohmad Waseem Malla is the Founder and Chief Editor of Middle East Outlook. He is a Research Fellow at the International Centre for Peace Studies (ICPS), New Delhi, where he also serves as Assistant Editor of its quarterly peer-reviewed Journal of Peace Studies (JPS). He holds a PhD in International Studies (specializing in Media Studies) from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
Dr. Malla’s research interests include political communication in the Middle East and South Asia, geopolitics, media-state interlinkages, and the dynamics of populism and digital authoritarianism in South Asia, particularly in India and Pakistan. His recent academic publications include “China’s Approach to the Iran-Saudi Arabia Rivalry” in Middle East Policy and “The Fall of the Assad Regime: Implications for the Region and India” in the Journal of Peace Studies. His forthcoming work on “India-Qatar relations” is being published in Siyasat Arabia in its forthcoming issue.
Consulting Editor: Dr Prem Anand Mishra
Dr. Prem Anand Mishra is a faculty member at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He holds a PhD in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Dr. Mishra has extensively published in renowned international journals and is frequently featured by leading media outlets, including the BBC, for his expert analysis on key issues in international relations.
Book Review Editor: Dr Minakshi Sardar
Dr. Minakshi Sardar is an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Indian Social Institute, New Delhi, India. She holds a PhD in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Previously, she was associated with the Middle East Institute, New Delhi.
