Mantasha Asfar works as a Research Assistant with Middle East Outlook. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at the Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. Her research interests focus on West Asian security, geopolitical frameworks, and regional political history. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi.

Her academic work is centred on understanding the political and strategic developments shaping West Asia and their broader regional implications. Through her research and analytical engagement, she seeks to examine contemporary geopolitical challenges, regional power dynamics, and security concerns with an interdisciplinary perspective.
